Bitcoin (BTC) chart guide

Bitcoin is the largest crypto asset by market value and a common reference point for liquidity, risk appetite and the direction of the wider crypto market.

What to watch on the BTC chart

  • Price structure across 30m, 1h, 4h and 1d
  • Volume expansion around support and resistance
  • Whether altcoins confirm or diverge from Bitcoin

A focused multi-timeframe workflow

Use the 30-minute and 1-hour charts for immediate structure, then compare the 4-hour and daily charts before assigning more importance to a move. A short-term EMA cross is context—not a prediction—and deserves confirmation from price structure and volume.

Set a level without watching every candle

Move the chart cursor to a meaningful price and use the bell-plus control to create a device-local alert. The alert can produce an in-page message, a sound and, when permitted, a browser notification.

Compare, do not isolate

Open BTC beside Bitcoin, Ethereum, gold, volatility or equity indexes. The grid is most useful when it shows whether a move is market-wide, category-specific or isolated to one asset.
